Terms & Conditions
Who can be nominated? The Awards are open to GPs, Practice Nurses, Practice Staff and Healthcare Organisations who are working in Primary Healthcare in Ireland.
How do I enter? Entries must be submitted through this website (www.pdexamples.com). The deadline for entries is noon on 15th June 2016.
The GP of the Year will be nominated by other GPs and organisations.
For each award, three entries will be shortlisted to win the award. Short-listed entrants will be contacted by GPBuddy.
The number of entries per organisation/individual is not limited. Entries may be entered in more than one category.
All submissions, including supporting material, will become the property of the organisers and will not be returned.
Canvassing of judges will result in immediate disqualification.
Material circulated to the judges will be confidential and will not be circulated beyond the judging panel.
However, winning entries will be published after the Awards, unless specifically requested otherwise.
The judges will evaluate each entry based on its merit and success at achieving stated objectives.
If the members of the judging panel are of the opinion that a sufficiently high standard has not been attained in any of the categories, the award in that category will be withheld. For each award, the judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries may be made in any of the categories outlined on our website and brochure.
While an entry may be submitted in more than one category, the judging panel reserves the right, in consultation with the entrant, to consider any entry in a category other than that for which it was entered.
